Broccardo, Bricco San Pietro 2014 Barolo:
Monforte d’Alba. Evolving mid ruby with orange rim and a shade deeper than the Tre Pais Barolo from the same vintage. Pretty, perfumed Nebbiolo nose with earthy cherry and hints of iron and orange skin. Featherlight fruit that is perfumed and persistent and with long, powdery tannins. Closes up on the finish, so I would give it another year.

Broccardo, I Tre Pais 2014 Barolo:
From three vineyards in the communes of Manforte d’Alba, Barolo and Novello. Just mid ruby with orange tinges. Stil! a little closed with hints of liquorice. Lithe and fragrant palate with proper tannic grip, but not overwhelming the fruit. Overall a pretty wine, if a little short.

Broccardo Nebbiolo 2016 Langhe :
Palish ruby. lnviting, soft spicy strawberry and cherry nose. Elegant and completely dry cherry fruit palate with a soft, lasting chewy tannins on the finish. Great to drink while you wait for your Barolos to mature

Broccardo 2016 Barbera d’Alba:
Deep crimson. Lifted, sweet-sour cherry and blueberry nose and supple, dari< and sour cherry palate with quite a bit of chewy tannin and acidity. Mouthfilling aromas. Carries its 15% {!) alcohol with grace. (WS)
